Roatan Realty & Utila Realty were established in November, 2002. When combined they represent the second largest real estate company in the Bay Islands with the company itself owning substantial investments on the islands. The two companies were formed by Alfred Western who has over 40 years experience in real estate and has been living on the island of Roatan for 16 years. Utila Realty quickly flourished and has become the dominant real estate firm on the Island of Utila.
Recent Sale of Company
In Feburary of 2007 Bradley Ryon purchased the Utila Realty Company from Roatan Realty. Utila Realty had grown to the point where they felt they needed a bit more autonomy to take advantage of Utila's exploding real estate market. The companies still remain very close and collaborate on sales, referrals, and adverstising.
