Brad Ryon –

Brad has become well-known and respected for his high level of integrity, and ability to maintain his easy going nature combined with his serious focus to his clients and the profession. In addition, he is an officially licensed real estate professional, holding licenses with the International National Association of Realtors, Roatan Realtors Association, Multiple Listing Service (MLS), and CANABIRH, He is well-versed and highly experienced with the local real estate market, including the legalities involved in buying, owning, and selling properties, as well as doing business in Honduras.
Brad and his wife Andi first visited and began investing in Utila in 2002; relocating year-round to Utila in early 2005. Upon moving to the island, Brad and Andi purchased and managed the popular Bundu Café and continued to invest in properties in the rapidly growing real estate market. At that time, Brad also saw a clear need for an educated, ethical, and professional real estate agent on the island, which prompted him to pursue his licensing and subsequent affiliation Utila Realty. When the business later became available for sale, Brad bought out the company, and continues to work the business full time, hands-on and directly with his clients, as well as continues to be active in the Utila real estate market personally.
Prior to arriving in Utila, Brad worked for the United States National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) a Marine Biologist for over 10 years in Hawai’i, the Pacific Region and Alaska, focusing on marine mammal policy issues and remote island field biology. During his tenure there, he was also the Marine Mammal Stranding and Oil Spill Response Coordinators, involved with the management and coordination of large scale responses and logistics involving biologists, government, and the local community.

Mary Collins –
Office Manager / Agent in Training
Mary returns home to Utila to be with her family after multiple years of living up in the States and finishing her Associates college degree in Jamesville Wisconsin.
Many folks know Mary from seeing her through the years lending a helping hand at her grandfather John Bodden's (Mr. Johnny) business of Johnny's Water. Mary is also popular with the youth of the island has she started a ballet and creative movement program for kids here on Utila. In her spare time she loves playing with her new nephews and just enjoying the easy going life of Utila with her fiancee Harris.
We are lucky to have Mary's kind personality as part of our team, and combined with her intelligence and local knowledge, she has already proven herself as a capable young woman that we look forward to seeing grow with our business.
Andi (Andrea) Shluker Ryon–
Business Consultant and Accounts Manager
Andi has a dual background in both Marine Ecology and Hotel and Business Administration, with degrees from both University of Hawaii and Cornell University, respectively. Coming to Utila from Hawai'i with her husband Brad, her prior positions were with the University of Hawai'i as their Marine Education Program Coordinator, and with The Nature Consevancy as their Marine Project Manager focusing on aquatic invasive species. In addition to her biology and education experience, Andi has experience working with multiple hotel chains and independent restaurants throughout the United States and the Caribbean.
Well-versed in applied business systems and protocols as well as the local people, culture, and legal system, Andi successfully managed, expanded, and subsequently sold 2 on-island businesses: the Bundu Café restaurant, which she and Brad bought upon coming to the island, and Destination Utila Vacation Rentals, which she started in 2005 while running the Bundu Café. In addition to handling the accounting for Utila Realty, Andi is available for business consulting services, whether it’s the purchasing and selling of an Utila business, or related to the specific business operation.
