The Blue Moon Beach House is situated on two lots in the tranquil and idyllic Jack Neil Beach Community on the South Shore of Utila.

The size of the property would allow for the construction of up to fifteen more cabins to accommodate groups, guests and larger families at a location perfect for a peaceful retreat and appreciation of the natural surroundings.

World class scuba diving sites are located steps from the front deck of the house. Enter the warm water from the sandy beach and swim a few strokes to the incredibly vibrant and rich coral reef where multitudes of tropical fish, turtles, rays and eels swim and feed and make for delightful snorkeling and scuba diving.

A private dock, built in 2013, is situated in front of this property and offers a nice place for social gatherings and barbecues. The dock gives greater ease of access to the reef for snorkeling, scuba diving and swimming as well as access to the property via boat. The dock offers a covered boat slip with a roof system capable of accommodating a boat lift for a smaller sized boat.

There is a large community dock for day use by the home owners in the Jack Neil Beach area.

Permanent boat slips are available for purchase at two separate marinas in the protected canal system which is located an easy ten minute walk from the back of this property on an access road. Access to town is possible in any weather conditions through the canal system which offers a sheltered and secure permanent location for your boat.

Constructed out of Honduran hardwood with wood flooring throughout the three structures, each are built with vaulted ceilings to allow for maximum air flow and cooling currents to circulate within.

The larger Main house has two bedrooms each with a queen sized bed and a shared bathroom with hot water shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with a 6 burner gas stove and oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and an outdoor BBQ Grill and is ready for hosting a large family meal. The dining room, living room and the spacious front deck overlook the beach and the ever-changing sea beyond.

Each of the two guest "Cabins" were built in 2008 and contain one bedroom and a sleeping loft with queen-sized beds and a full-size futon. The "Cabins" each have a full bathroom with hot water shower, a small fridge and a small deck which face the beach. In between the Cabana's is a larger deck area for social gatherings and shared meals. Under the main house there is a bodega (storage area) for keeping water sports equipment.

There are air-conditioning units in each of the four bedrooms with the remainder of indoor spaces cooled by ceiling fans.

This home is an established vacation rental property. There is a private fresh water well on the property as well as four cisterns. Each structure will be sold furnished.
